15dec- last lesson of theme 2

I am back to blog my sat lesson.. The kids learnt how to make lilies using simple materials and simple drawing. Though they faced difficulties tracing out their hand, they managed to complete it.

Using pencils. tracing or drawing will be more tough for the younger ones, but in Alpha Plus, we give them time to adapt and slowly they will improve.

We trust in providing guidance, time and fun when teaching them ;)

Look at their happy faces, playing around with ther lilies while I am taking pictures of them!!

8 dec- 3rd lesson of theme 2

"Hi people, can you see my faces"?

On this lesson, they made different faces that they want, be it surprise face or happy face. Using black yarn to make their eyebrow, crayons to draw and colour, paper plates and straw for them to hold or hang..

The kids enjoyed it very much, especially coming to drawing and colouring their hair, their eyebrow..It is a very real experience because what they draw actually portrays their character and feelings at that instant..

Well done kids! Will be back to blog my 4th lesson for theme 2, coming this sat!!

1st dec -2nd lesson of theme 2

Isn't their art pieces colourful.. That is what Creative Art wants to bring out in their life- the vibrant colours of childhood!!

Using cotton wool, crayons, paints, they created a ocean of their own,with little creatures in the sea ..

They enjoyed the lesson, and they can even crack jokes though their young.. Impressive!!As the trainer I am all right with jokes as long as they have fun in my class, because they are the ones who gives me encouragementand joy in teaching..

Using your creativity to make a Lily flower

(1) Get ready the 6 items (Picture 1)

(2) Trace the outline of your hand - kids hand preferred (Picture 2)

(3) Cut out the shape of the hand

(4) Use a pencil to curl the petals (Picture 3)

(5) Twist the cut out shape on a straw (Picture 4)

(6) Using a green highlighter to colour a paper and cut out the shape of the leaves. (Picture 5)

Being proud of their work!!

The lovely cute art pieces that the students made.

It is a 3D kind of puppet that they can play with, using paper plates and straws.

They had a good time drawing their favourite characters, ranging from fishes to strawberry. ;)

In addition, their names are added to their work, and a more beautiful piece is created.

Well done students and trainers!! :)

Art of Magic

Shuffling and playing of a coin using finger can be amazing to many people. Arts allow people to reflect on many things can cannot be explained using words. Arts is something that is good to look at. Many people, especially young children like magic. These children like to watch magician performing different types of tricks. Even adults. Even they know that magic is illusion and speed, but still they like to watch David Copperfield flying around and performing various types of magic. So is Magic a form of Arts? Alpha Creative Arts theme for this season is Magical Arts. Children will be using creative methods to create magical wands and playing with the magic of mixing colours!
